Robinson Crusoe
It is the story of a brave man who is shipwrecked on an island and has to learn how to survive on his own. With great realistic detail, Daniel Defoe describes the life and thought of Robinson Crusoe during the many years he waits to be rescued. Despite illness, bad weather and loneliness, Robinson works very hard and uses what he can save from the shipwreck and what the island has to offer to make a comfortable life for himself. But one day he makes a terrible discovery: a footprint on the shore. Are there cannibals on the island?
