Life is hard for Mrs. Pepper and her five little Peppers-Ben, Pollu, Joel, Davie, and Phronsie- but it's also filled with plenty of fun, warm laughter, and much love. Mrs. Pepper works cheerfully at her sewing to support her family, while the children, who adore their Mamsie, help out however they can. Through good times and in spite of trouble, they are a happy bunch. But when one of the Peppers is in danger it's up to a young boy to see if he can save the day.
