He is the author of Guitar Effects Pedals - The Practical HAndbook, a former editor of THe Guitar Magazine (UK), and has edited and contributed to books such as: The Tube Amp Book - Deluxe Revised Edition; Acoustic Guitars - The Illustrated Encyclopedia; Totaly Guitars; and Recording Guitar and Bass. He lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. with his wife and their two children.
